How to assemble, fill, prime and maintain your Airscream Pro II or Pro LITE refillable pod device - plus quick troubleshooting.
The AirsPops Airscream Pro is a refillable pod device — you fill it with your own e-liquid instead of buying prefilled pods. This guide covers assembling it, filling it, and keeping it working properly.
A note on models: the original Airscream Pro has been discontinued. The current model is the Airscream Pro II, which works the same way and uses the same pods and coils as the Pro LITE. Everything below applies to both.
What's in the box
- The battery (the metal body with the fire button and USB-C port)
- A refillable pod with a coil already fitted
- A USB-C charging cable
You'll also need e-liquid — the device is sold empty. 313 AirsPops 1.9% suits most people; 313 AirsPops 4.0% is the stronger option if you're coming straight off cigarettes.
1. Charge it first
Plug the USB-C cable in and charge to full before the first use. The indicator light goes out when it's done. Use a normal phone charger or a laptop port — avoid fast-charge bricks, which push more current than the battery needs.
2. Fill the pod
- Pull the pod straight up and out of the battery.
- Open the silicone fill plug on the side of the pod.
- Insert the e-liquid bottle nozzle and fill slowly, stopping just below the max line. Don't overfill — the pod needs an air gap to work.
- Press the fill plug firmly back in. It should sit flush.
3. Prime the coil — the step people skip
After filling, stand the pod upright for 5 to 10 minutes before vaping. The wick inside needs time to soak. Vaping a dry coil burns it instantly, and a burnt coil can't be recovered — you replace it.

4. Fit the pod and vape
Push the pod back into the battery until it clicks — it's held by magnets, so it only goes in one way. The device is draw-activated: just inhale. There's no button to hold.
5. Replacing pods and coils
A coil lasts roughly one to two weeks of regular use. Replace it when the flavour dulls, the vapour thins, or you get a scorched taste that a refill doesn't fix.

Keeping it working
- Don't run it dry. Refill when the liquid drops below the coil window — that's what kills coils.
- Wipe the contacts. A cotton bud on the magnetic contacts clears condensation that causes misfires.
- Store it upright. On its side, liquid seeps into the airway and you get gurgling or leaking.
- Don't leave it flat. Charge before it fully drains; deep discharges shorten battery life.
Quick troubleshooting
- No vapour — check the pod is seated, then clean the contacts. If the light doesn't flash on a draw, charge it.
- Burnt taste — the coil is spent or was never primed. Replace it.
- Gurgling or leaking — usually overfilling or storing it on its side. Empty, wipe the airway, refill to just below the line.
- Weak flavour — coil nearing end of life, or the liquid is too thin for the coil.
