An honest review of the Airscream Pro II refillable pod system - what it does well, what to watch for, and whether to pick it over the Pro LITE.
The Airscream Pro is the flagship refillable pod system in the AirsPops range. The original Pro has been discontinued and replaced by the Airscream Pro II, which is what this review covers.
What it is
The Airscream Pro II is a draw-activated refillable pod device. There's no button and no settings to configure — you fill the pod with your own e-liquid, click it into the battery, and inhale. USB-C charging, magnetic pod connection.
It's aimed at someone who wants a device that lasts and a running cost well below disposables, without the complexity of an adjustable-wattage mod.
What it does well
- Running cost. This is the real argument. You buy e-liquid by the 30ml bottle instead of paying per disposable, and replace only a coil now and then.
- Flavour choice. Any e-liquid fits, so you're not limited to what's made for a pod. Both 313 AirsPops 1.9% and 4.0% work well in it.
- Simplicity. Draw-activated with no menus. If you're stepping up from disposables, nothing here is unfamiliar except filling it.
- Shared consumables. Pods and coils are common with the Pro LITE, so replacements are easy to find and you're not locked to one device.
What to be aware of
- You have to prime it. Fill the pod, then wait 5–10 minutes before the first draw. Skip this and you burn the coil immediately — the most common complaint about any refillable, and entirely avoidable.
- Coils are consumable. Expect to replace one every week or two. That's normal, not a fault.
- It's bulkier than a disposable. If pocket space is the priority, the Pro LITE or M.USE are smaller.
- Filling is a small chore. Two minutes every day or two. Some people would rather click in a prefilled pod — if that's you, the AirsPops XL takes prefilled pods.

Verdict
The Pro II is the device to buy if you're moving off disposables and want the running cost to drop without taking on a complicated device. The only real demand it makes is priming the coil properly — get that right and it's a straightforward, long-lived vape.
If you'd rather not fill anything, buy the AirsPops XL and run prefilled pods instead.
