Airscream Pro LITE vs Pro II: Which Should You Buy?

Both are mouth-to-lung pod systems, both take the same pods, coils and e-liquid, and both charge over USB-C. The difference is how much control you want — and how often you want to charge.

The short answer

Buy the Pro LITE if you want a simple refillable pod device that just works — fill it, draw on it, done. Buy the Pro II if you want to adjust the vape and see what the device is doing.

They take the same pods, the same coils and the same e-liquid, so this is not a choice you can get badly wrong. Nothing you buy for one is wasted if you later switch to the other.

What they share

More than you might expect, which is why the decision comes down to a small number of real differences:

• Pods and coils. The refillable pod 2-pack and the coil 2-pack fit both devices.
• E-liquid. Both run 313 AirsPops e-liquid in either strength.
• Prefilled pods. If you would rather not refill at all, the same prefilled pods fit either device.
• Charging. USB-C on both.
• Pod fitting. Magnetic on both — the pod drops in and holds.

What the Pro II adds

Four things, and whether they matter to you is the entire decision:

• A bigger battery — 1000 mAh against the Pro LITE's 700 mAh. In practice that is the difference between charging every day or two and charging every couple of days.
• Adjustable power. Turn the wattage up for warmer, thicker vapour, or down for a cooler draw that makes a coil last longer.
• Adjustable airflow. Tighten it for a cigarette-like draw, open it for a looser one. The Pro LITE's draw is fixed.
• A display. Battery level, puff count and coil resistance, so you can see the battery dropping and know when a coil is aging instead of guessing.

None of that changes what the device fundamentally is. Both are mouth-to-lung pod systems aimed at someone who wants a cigarette-like draw rather than clouds.

Buy the Pro LITE if

• This is your first refillable device and you want fewer things to think about.
• You want the lower price and would rather put the difference into e-liquid.
• You want it light in a pocket — it is the smaller, plainer of the two.
• Colour matters: it comes in six, where the Pro II is a more understated matte finish.

Buy the Pro II if

• You are a heavier vaper and want to charge less often.
• You want to tune the draw — tighter or looser, warmer or cooler — rather than accept one setting.
• You are coming off a bigger device and the Pro LITE's fixed, tight draw would feel restrictive.
• You like knowing where the battery is instead of finding out.

What about the original Airscream Pro?

The first-generation Pro is no longer sold. It sat between these two — a 700 mAh metal-bodied device without the display or the adjustments — and the Pro II replaced it. If you already own one, its pods and coils are the same ones listed above, so it stays serviceable. If you are choosing today, the choice is between the two devices on this page.

The verdict

Most people buying their first pod system are better served by the Pro LITE: it is cheaper, simpler, and it does the main job just as well because the pod and coil doing the work are identical. Step up to the Pro II when you know you want to adjust the vape, or when charging the Pro LITE daily starts to annoy you.
