Some of our most popular liquids, devices and pouches sell out fast. Rather than make you wait and check back, we let you pre-order them — reserve and pay for your item now, and we'll ship it to you as soon as it's back in stock.
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an order for an item that's currently out of stock but on its way back in. You pay for it now, and we send it the moment it arrives — usually within 5–10 business days. You'll always know an item is a pre-order before you buy: it's marked with a "Pre-order" badge, and the button reads "Pre-order" instead of "Add to cart".
When am I charged?
At checkout, in full — exactly like a normal order. There's no separate deposit or later charge; the price you see is the price you pay now, and your item is reserved for you.
How long until it ships?
Pre-order items typically ship within 5–10 business days, once the stock lands with us. As soon as your order is on its way, you'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking, just like any other order.
I want some in-stock items too — can I order everything together?
Yes. You can add in-stock and pre-order items to the same cart. When your order contains a pre-order item, you'll be asked how you'd like it shipped:
- Keep the pre-order items — your whole order ships together once every item is in stock (~5–10 business days).
- Remove the pre-order items — we ship only what's in stock now, and the pre-order items are removed from this order. (You're welcome to order those separately whenever you like.)
We don't split a single order into two deliveries, so this choice just lets you decide whether to wait for everything or get your in-stock items straight away.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes — any time before it ships. Just email us at charl@smokeorganic.co.za and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
What if the stock doesn't arrive?
Occasionally a supplier is delayed. If we're unable to dispatch your pre-order within 10 business days, we'll refund it in full — no need to chase us, though you're always welcome to reach out at charl@smokeorganic.co.za.
How do I know which products can be pre-ordered?
Any out-of-stock item that we can reliably restock shows a "Pre-order" badge on the product and in collections. On products with multiple variants (flavours, colours, sizes), a small dot marks the specific ones that are available to pre-order.
