Guides for Airscream AirsPops Devices

If your device is flashing red as you insert a pod or when you try to pull on it, it's usually a sign that the connection between the pod and the device isn't secure.

This can be caused by incorrectly inserting the pod, liquid covering the metal connectors, or by a damaged pod.

Step 1

Before we go down the rabbit hole of diagnosing the problem with your device, lets start with the basics.

Remove your pod from the device. Line up the pod with the entrance of the device and firmly push the pod down into the device.

You should hear a light click that indicates that the pod is securely attached to the device.

Try use your device, if its still flashing red then move on to step 2.

Step 2

The 2nd most common issue is liquid or dirt between the metal connectors of the device and the metal connectors of the pod.

To clean this, remove the pod from the device. We recommend using a cotton swab or tissue and gently wiping away any liquid or dust covering the metal connectors on the device and the pod.

Reinsert the pod. If the connection is solid, the light will not flash red as you insert it.

If you device flashes red as you insert the pod or pull on it, move on to step 3.

Step 3

Next, we need to determine if the issue is with the device or the pods metal connectors.

To do so, grab a second pod and attach that to the device.

If the device still flashes red, it's likely that there is an issue with your device. If you bought the device from The Smoke Organic Store, simply fill in our Contact Us form and we'll organise a replacement free of charge if its less than 6 months old.

If the white light comes on and the device is pulling correctly, the problem is with your pod.

If liquid is coming into your mouth when you pull on your device, its either because the refillable pod is overfilled or the coil is flooded.

If your Airscream device is giving you a burnt taste, then your coil has burned.

You should replace your coil or refillable pod as soon as possible.

To avoid burning your coil in the future, you should ensure that the e-liquid level is not too low in the pod and keep it topped up.

After you top up your pod, let it stand upright for at least 2-3 minutes to ensure that the coil soaks up the e-liquid.

If your Airscream device's pod is leaking e-liquid (vape juice) then the pod is likely damaged.

You should replace your pod as soon as possible.

To avoid your pod leaking in the future, when refilling you should avoid overfilling the pod and ensure that the rubber seal is correctly sealed.

Be gentle with the rubber seal as it can damage with too much force or if you pierce it with a sharp object like your nails.
